SCHULTZ REGIS J., Sr. Age 77, of Marshall Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at UPMC Passavant. He was born November 1, 1940, to the late Joseph A. Schultz and Emily (Tiska) Schultz. Rege was a 1958 graduate of North Allegheny High School's first graduating class. Rege was a proud US Coast Guard veteran, stationed in New Jersey, Hawaii and Japan. He was a member of Saints John and Paul Church in Bradford Woods. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, especially fly fishing, shooting, especially skeet, woodworking, selling antique tools at the flea market, and watching and carving birds. He was also a foodie before there was a concept of a foodie. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Suzanne (Miller) Schultz; son, Regis (Amy) Schultz, Jr.; a daughter, Sherri (Ron) Mignella; four grandchildren, Kayla and Madelyn Schultz, Ashley and Jacob Mignella; brother, Carl Schultz; sister, Barbara (Schultz) Doyle; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Price Greisinger in Pittsburgh on December 8, 1984, after only a few months of dating. He was an avid Steelers fan. Warren loved working for Southwest Florida International Airport returning lost luggage to passengers. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; children: Wendy (Dennis) Dixon and Danielle Valentine; grandchildren: Michael Roberts, Madison Roberts, Maggie Roberts, Melissa Dixon, CJ Roberts, Isabella Dixon, MacKenzie Smith and Emma Catherine Dixon; brother, James (Jeannie) Satterfield; sister-in-law, Jean Satterfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lois received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and taught at Second Ward School in Tarentum, PA. Lois was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, PEO Chapter, the Garden Club of New Kensington, Women's Auxiliary Ashland University Board of Trustees and volunteer at St. Margaret's Hospital. Lois was a lifelong member of Methodist Churches and attended in Freeport, New Kensington, Arnold, Oakmont and Faith United Methodist in Fox Chapel. Lois was a member of the choir at the New Kensington Methodist Church, Oakmont Methodist Church, Faith United Methodist Church and Arnold Methodist Church. Lois loved to travel and visited all 50 states, over 60 countries and all seven continents. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James E. Simmermon; children James K. REGINELLA FEDERICO FRED Age 84, of Oakmont and formerly of Greenfield, passed peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Born in Pereto, Italy, son of the late Rinaldo and Francesca Reginella. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Rose Marie. Former Director of Engineering and Construction of the City of Pittsburgh from 1994-2004. In addition, former Chief of the Structural Engineering Departments of the Comstock Company, Swindell-Dressler Company, and the Peter F. Loftus Corporation. Fred's outstanding career included achievements such as the Engineers Society of Western Pennsylvania award "Engineer of the Year" 2004 as well as the American Society of Civil Engineers Pittsburgh Section award for Service to the People 2003. Pittsburgh City Council issued an official Proclamation declaring December 20th, 2004 "FRED REGINELLA DAY" in the City of Pittsburgh. His birth town of Pereto, Italy officially declared August 5th, 2005 as "Federico Reginella Day". Fred was also a proud leader and member of many other Professional and Civic organizations including The Italian Sons and Daughters of America and the American Society of Highway Engineers. Fred is survived by his loving children, Joseph (Donna), Thomas (Laurie Rossetti), and Francine (Anthony) Pugliese; cherished Pop-Pop of Anthony, Vincent, Marco, Nina, and Miko. O'CONNOR EDWARD Age 77, of West Deer Township, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017, at UPMC - Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born May 5, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Timothy and Irene (Gearing) O'Connor. Also, preceding him in death, brothers, Timothy O'Connor, Jr., Thomas O'Connor; and son, Mark O'Connor. Edward was a Lawyer with Eckert Seamans for 52 years. Uncomfortable with "retirement", Ed went to work for Moran & Moran Law Firm in Wexford until his sudden passing. Ed was a member of the Duquesne Club and of Wildwood Country Club. He loved watching Penguins hockey and traveling, namely, to Naples, FL and Hilton Head, SC. However, Ed truly cherished his work and was proud of his service in the community. Honesty and Integrity were at the heart of everything Ed accomplished. He was proud that his "Word was bond." Among his many community contributions were, Hampton Township Planning Commission, Chair of Hampton Township Zoning Hearing Board, Director and member of the Audit, Compliance & Compensation Committees of Federated Investors, Inc., Council for the Sisters of St. Francis in Millvale, Trustee of the Noble J. Dick Educational Foundation, St. Francis Health System Board of Directors, Board of Directors for St. Francis Plaza, Inc., Board of Directors of Duquesne University and the Executive Committee of the Board and Chair of the Student Life Committee of the Board. Included amongst his many recognitions are Recipient of 2012 President's Award from the Allegheny Bar Association, Central Catholic High School 2011 Distinguished Alumnus in Law Award, St. Thomas More Society 2008 Award at the Annual Red Mass, the Caritas Award of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, 2003, Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Duquesne Law and Review and the Duquesne Law Alumni Association, Century Club of Distinguished Alumnus and recipient of the McAnulty Service Award from Duquesne University, and Allegheny County Bar Foundation Fellows Program which annually awards an honorary membership in Edward O'Connor's name to recognize attorneys who show a commitment to excellence in charitable, community, professional and public service activities. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved restoring classic cars and spending time with his Beagle, Harley. He was a longtime employee of Burns Tire in Waynesburg where he worked as an auto mechanic. His wife, Christine E. Aiken Holzworth, whom he married on October 12, 1975, died March 24, 2004. Domes (Kaselonis-Salopek); stepfather of William (Lisa) Salopek, Carol (Deacon Victor) DeFazio and Patricia (Dr. Thomas) Salopek-Ramirez; brother of Sandy (Late Chuck) Mercer, Toni Domes, Linda (Bill) Bost, Luigi Molino, Vincent (Jackie) Molino and the late Gayeann Mercer and Wade Domes; beloved grandfather of Brother George (Brian) O.S.B and Jonathan DeFazio, Matthew Salopek and Sabrina and June Ramirez; father of Ronald, Patricia, James and Heather; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gene was a Veteran of the Navy serving during the Korean Conflict on the U.S.S. Midway and U.S.S. Yorktown. He was a Supervisor at Motor Coils in Braddock and retired in 1997. Gene and Audrey enjoyed their retirement years, spending many Octobers in Hilton Head, SC and visiting their out-of-state children and grandchildren, but most treasured are memories of family beach vacations. KIPROFF PETER On Saturday, December 30, Peter Kiproff, Oakmont, formerly of Churchville, PA, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 years. Peter was the loving and caring husband of Vicki Kiproff, (deceased, 2013) and proud father of Peter N. Kiproff (Ann), Germantown, TN, and Paul M. Kiproff, M.D. (Diane), Pittsburgh; grandfather (Grandpa) of Alex, Lauren, Andrew, and Nicholas Kiproff; brother-in-law (Thomas McDonagh) and beloved uncle to his niece and nephews. Peter enjoyed a full, long and productive life. His career as a Professional Engineer spanned 60 years, with countless hours given to volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, the elderly and his church. Peter was well known for using his knowledge and ability to fashion a repair or design a solution for any problem. He enjoyed his time spent in a metal or wood shop and also took great pleasure from gardening. Peter was born in Ottawa, CA, moved to the United States at the age of 2, and grew up in New York City. He graduated from the Pratt Institute with his engineering degree, working most of his professional life in the aerospace industry developing and testing jet and rocket engines for NASA during the exciting era of the Space Race. He received honors and much recognition for his contributions. He was a member of St. John Orthodox Church, New Kensington. Peter was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Vicki Fitsames Kiproff; his sister, Mignon Holz, (Fayetteville, NY); and parents, Pando and Fania Kiproff. Peter will be deeply missed by his family. A private ceremony will take place Friday, at St. Vladimir Orthodox Theological Seminary, West Chester, New York. KAMINSKI DAVID JOSEPH, Sr. Age 64, of Franklin Park, died on Monday, January 1, 2018. Son of the late Richard and Dolores Kaminski; beloved husband of Annie (Finau) Kaminski; father of David Joseph Kaminski, Jr.; brother of Daniel, Ronald and the late Regis Kaminski. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. TALOTTA LINDA K. (TRAINOR) Of Turtle Creek, age 70, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Beloved mother of Tammy Yallum of Plum and Ronald (Sato) Mountin of GA; cherished grandmother of Krystina and Kaylee Yallum, Tiffany, Alyssa, Chelsey and Nino Mountin; proud great-grandmother of Brianna Bortz; daughter of the late Bernice Bennett. Linda was a 1965 graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School and was a longtime employee of West Penn Hospital, retiring in 2014.
