(JoAnn) McVeigh, nephews Adam and Brock McVeigh, his aunt Sharon Motzko (Garvis) Martin, his uncles Jeff (Srinivas) McVeigh, Jack (Elaine) McVeigh and his cousins. Tim's extended family includes Angie's parents John (Debbie) Diano, Kate (Frank) Tedesco, Mike (Michele), Frank and Jen Diano. Tim loved all the Pittsburgh sports teams especially the Steelers and had a love a music. But of all the things in his life, his greatest joy was raising his daughter Brianna. He enjoyed sharing stories of his nephews Adam and Brock and all the Diano children Angeline, Pia, Anthony, Bailey, Brandon, Frankie, Addie, Sara, Logan and Alyssa. Knowing his daughter's friend Brian Lucas is there for her with comfort and moral support put his mind at ease. Over years of the many different diagnoses and hospital stays he loved to use social media. He was able to stay connected with all of his friends who kept him going with all of their love and words of encouragement that helped him keep up the ?ght. Cancer does not discriminate when it comes into your life. It does not care that it causes you pain, hurts the people that you love, takes away your hopes and dreams. Cancer met its match in Tim. He was a courageous warrior, he accepted the multiple diagnoses that came year after year and through love, sheer stubbornness and determination kept going. In the end it is cancer that lost the battle with Tim, because with God on his side, he is back in the arms of his one true love. Together they will be looking over from above on their daughter knowing their families are there to help raise and guide her. Friends are welcome on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC ; 700 Linden Ave. at Cable; East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800 where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb

FLYNN NANCY EILEEN Age 55, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 6 at 3:40 a.m. Nancy lived life out loud and in the moment – always aware that any interaction could be transformed into a loving memory through heartfelt laughter, deep conversations or a simple, knowing look across a room. Nancy faithfully poured out kindness and encouragement to those that crossed her path. She ?ercely loved her friends and family in a way that made each person better for knowing her. Nancy was a fan of life, never believing any person or situation arose by accident, but rather, a divine appointment from her God. She often marveled at her opportunities to travel the world and connect with different cultures and took time to delight in the small things in life that brought her joy: snow (and telling those didn't like snow how wrong they were), high heels, the Academy Awards, Jon Bon Jovi, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Hamilton, animojis and Lake Champlain. Nancy will forever be missed by her adored son, Ross Flynn; siblings, Edward Flynn, James (Kathy) Flynn and Alice (Buster) Jones; her nieces and nephews, Laura Carter, Christopher (Alicia) Flynn, Shannon Flynn, Samantha Flynn, Jordan (Elizabeth) Flynn, Amy {Husband Name} {Last name}, Dawn Garrett, Kelly Garrett and Charlene Flynn will cherish memories with her always.
