She was born on September 23, 1935, in Duquesne, PA, to the late Donald and Elizabeth (Thomas) Rumbaugh. Beloved sister of Donald Rumbaugh (JoAnn) of Monaca; loving aunt and godmother of Rachel Rumbaugh of Economy; also many wonderful friends. Carol was a 1953 graduate of Monaca High School and had worked for Bell Telephone as an assistant chief operator. She was an avid Golden Panther supporting University of Pitt by attending both football and basketball games. She traveled the world over and attended St. Margaret Mary Church. SLASKA WALTER ROBERT Walter Robert Lad Slaska, 82, of Hendersonville, passed on May 13, 2014. Mr. Slaska was an Army corporal in the Korean War. He was a democratic committeeman for Cecil Township for many years. He enjoyed doing handyman work and cutting his grass. He worked in the Mill Yard for Universal Cyclops, Bridgeville. Surviving are son, John Slaska (companion, Sherran Beatty) of Hendersonville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Slaska; and son, Walter Slaska; two brothers, Edward and John Slaska; and three sisters, Nellie Slaska, Stella Kowalski, and Jennie Lesjak.
