COOK MARY (LaBELLA) Peacefully, Mary Cook, 85, passed away on December 22, 2013 from complications associated with Alzheimer's disease. Mary grew up in Oakland and graduated from Schenley High School. She held the position of front desk clerk at the Schenley Hotel in Oakland, and later at The Carlton House in downtown Pittsburgh. She went on to an accounts payable position with the United Steelworkers where she retired after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Clarence Cook; her sisters, Mafalda Daniele, Caroline Sacco and Victoria LaCava; as well as special friend, Pasquale Melaragno. She is survived by brother-in-law, Frank LaCava; brother, Camillo (Peggy) LaBella; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Aunt Mary, was a very gentle, sweet woman. May she rest in peace and delight that she is now reunited with her beloved sisters. Family and friends are welcomed at the JOHN N. ODORISIO JUNE CORINNE 82, of Coral Springs, after saying "take me home, Jesus" went to be with our LORD early morning Thursday, December 19, 2013. Our loving mother is now absent from her body and present with the Lord. June was born August 23, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Richard Vincent and Eulala (Fuller) Denelsbeck. June met her husband Chuck in Pittsburgh. They were married on May 15, 1956. They bore children, and raised Linda, Charles and Elaine in Pittsburgh. They moved their family to South Florida in 1976. June focused her life on being a devoted wife and mother. She provided a warm loving home for her family. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Richard Denelsbeck, Jr., Edward Denelsbeck, Verna Boelky and Mary Lee Cautela. June is survived by her husband, Chuck; her three children, Linda, Charles and Elaine; in addition to many dearly loved relatives and friends. CASTALDO CARLO C. Age 81, of Green Tree, on Saturday, December 21, 2013. He was born to Umberto and Assunta Castaldo, May 5, 1932, on the Isle of Capri, Italy. Carlo was the beloved husband of Helen Salcetti Castaldo, the love of his life, for 57 years. They met in Capri while Helen was on hiatus from a year-long job in Rome. They were married after a year and a half long courtship in Rome, Italy in 1958 and then relocated to Pittsburgh in 1959 to raise a family. He is also survived by his loving children, Carla (Charles) Robida and David (Sharon) Castaldo; beloved Papa of Michaela and Zachary Robida; brother of Eugenio Castaldo and the late Marcello, Gaetano, and Attilio Castaldo; brother-in-law of Lynne Salcetti and the late Robert Salcetti, Sr. and Gene (Anne) Salcetti; also survived by niece and nephews, Beth Salcetti Moher, Blake Salcetti, and Bob Salcetti, Jr. Carlo's outgoing, friendly disposition and passion for good food led him to a successful career in the restaurant business. Carlo and Helen had a love for traveling and although they traveled to many places throughout Europe and the U.S., their heritage and love of family led them to return to Isle of Capri yearly upon their retirement. LYONS CAFFAREL VIOLA M. "ODY" (KLINKNER) Mar. 5, 1923 - Dec. 21, 2013, Viola M. "Ody" Lyons Caffarel, age 90, of Pittsburgh, PA died on Saturday after a brief illness. She was born in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Anthony and Alberta (End) Klinkner. She was twice married, first on June 27, 1946 to Bernard J. Lyons, Sr., who died on March 5, 1987 and later on June 2, 1989 to Alfred J. "Jerry" Caffarel, who died on August 22, 1999. She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Moats (William) of Edinboro, Patricia Berwick (the late Lawrence) of Pittsburgh, Mary Ellen Burkhart (Robert) of Canonsburg; two sons, Bernard Lyons, Jr. (Monica) of Duncansville, Timothy Lyons (Betty) of Pittsburgh; two stepchildren, Susan Caffarel of Pittsburgh and Dennis J. Caffarel of Erie, PA; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; she is also survived by two sisters, Janet Alexander and Laura Mutschler, both of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by sisters, Alberta Neuner, Edith Rayburn, and Mildred "Midge" Lewis; a brother, Howard Klinkner; and stepdaughter, Lynne Dean. Ody was a homemaker and member of St. Sylvester Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She enjoyed gardening, church activities, and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren. Friends will be received at the JOHN F.
